Students commencing medical school and master's of medicine program at Stanford this year will all get an Apple iPad. The school is trialing a program to see whether the devices are practical to integrate into the academic curriculum. Please refer to HERE for the full article.
Interesting. iPads for medical education is very useful as we can cramp all lecturers' notes, diagrams or journals into a device. I ever read a medical student blogged about he used iPod touch for all his anatomy diagrams and presentations. I think that's pretty convenient.
Another important point, devices like iPads for education can save tree too! Say a big yes to paper-less education!
